If you are a beginning poker player, this article can be used as a poker guide. Here you will find short and easy-to-understand explanation of all the winning poker combinations. For more convenience, it’s recommended to print this information, so as to have at hand during the game. Soon you’ll memorize all these combinations, and there’ll be no need to refer to this poker hand list. The combinations are listed from the highest to the lowest one.

Royal Flush is A, face cards and 10 of the same suit. The Straight Flush is 5 sequenced cards of one suit, for example 10-9-8-7-6 of hearts. Four-of-a-kind is 4 cards of one rank – four 10′s, or four Jacks, etc. Full House is composed of a pair of cards of equal value and a three-cards set of one value – for example, three Queens and two Kings. Flush is 5 non-consecutive cards of one suit. Straight is 5 sequenced cards of mismatching suits. Three-of-a-kind is 3 cards of equal denomination. Two Pair is any couple of cards of the same rank together with any other pair of one denomination. Pair is any 2 equally-valued cards. High Card is when none of the above mentioned hands is composed.
